This Louis XV-inspired beauty’s refined look-and-feel is certain to complement most any style. The upholstered seat bench was recently professionally reupholstered in a fabulous diamond point geometric textile that offers a smooth silky hand and an inviting cool olive neutral hue. The solid cherry wood frame rests gracefully on svelte cabriole legs ending in spiraling carved whorl feet. On the upper convex curve of the cabriole legs, you’ll find a hand carved classic acanthus leaf motif with a traditional carved shell centered on the apron, front and back; stain finish is a rich mid-tone walnut hue. Structurally sound and in excellent condition; pristine with little, if any wear. This lovely bench measures 18½” x 21” x 20½” H/W/D and weighs approximately 15 lbs. While the name on label underneath is that of the professional upholsterer, we do not know who the maker is but the fine details and quality of construction is akin to that of furniture made by Baker, Henredon and Drexel. This beauty will add an element of elegant charm wherever placed!
