Wonderful Indian Dowry Box with colourfully applied folk art hand paintings. Painted panels on all four sides and the top portraying a courting couple with court musicians - it is a Dowry box after all The rest of the box painted with whimsical floral panels and borders.
The good sized box has a hinged lid, domed top. Today this can be be used to store a variety of items, pretty much anywhere in the home. A nice addition.
