The chair frames … more This is a fabulous set of 4 vintage brass plated rush seat dining chairs by Hank Loewenstein. The chair frames are made of lightweight aluminum annodized with gold tone brass, and the seats are woven from natural rush. The set of chairs are signed Hank Loewenstein and were made in Italy.

The 1970s era chairs are in very good vintage condition. The chair frames are sturdy and very strong, with some scratches on the brass plated surfaces. The rush seats are also strong and tightly woven, but there are stains on the rush. In addition, one chair seat has loose strands of rush knotted in the back. All 4 chairs are structurally sound and functional despite the cosmetic issues.

Each chair measures 31" tall, 16.5" wide, and 16.5" deep with a seat height of 18.5 inches. less
