An acrylic on canvas painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled "GA Forest, "this abstract landscape painting depicts a mountainous landscape with colorful shrubs and hills in the foreground. Titled to the lower left, the painting is signed to the lower right and is displayed in a black wooden frame.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
