The 19th century chairs feature solid walnut frames with intricate carvings throughout, newer red velvet upholstery with matching red braided trim, and beautifully turned legs. The arm chair has an ornate top rail with a central flower motif. The side chairs have carved hip rails attaching the back to the seat,

The antique chairs are in very good condition for their age, and they are ready to be used right away. The chairs' load-bearing joints are solid and strong. The arm chair has one loose arm that needs repair, and one side chair has a loose piece of ornamental moulding on the chair's front apron. The newer red velvet upholstery is in overall good condition with some staining and discoloration as shown. The back of one chair has some missing braided trim that could be replaced. There are some signs of older repairs to the wood frames, including old nails and cracks that were re-glued. Please see photos for more details.

The arm chair measures 42.5" tall, 24" wide, and 26" deep with a seat height of 16 inches and an arm height of 23.5 inches. The side chairs measure 35" tall, 20" wide, and 20" deep with a seat height of 17 inches. less
