The lithograph print poster is published by The Galerie Maeght Paris, printed in France in 1972 in an unnumbered limited edition by the famous printing house of Atelier Mourlot, on the occasion of the exhibition. It features an artwork image originally created by Chagall in 1972 titled " the Artist As A Phoenix ".

Marc Chagall ( 1887 - 1985 ) the French Russian Born Jewish Expressionist artist is known for both his sense of color and his fluid aesthetic. His early Modernist artworks explore concepts and themes of spirituality, angelic influences, and the Jewish cultural life human experience. Chagall is commonly regarded as the quintessential preeminent Jewish artist of The 20th Century. The rare out of print framed collector's exhibition poster measures 21" W X 31 1/4" H X 1 1/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a classic Modern satin finish black wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent very clean condition. The poster print is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. There is some very light minor surface wear and a very small light age spot on the right side top edge of the letter " T " in the word Maeght. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
