Very large chest of drawers with two drawers without crosspieces in diamond marquetry and gilded bronzes. This piece of furniture bears the salamander stamp of maison andré mailfert (1884-1943). The butterfly wing marquetry with this double curved facade is remarkable in its workmanship. An important cavet marble. The bronzes of the handles and falls of the feet are also gilded and of high quality. The drawer locks have their diamond keys. Rare piece of furniture in this quality of manufacture.
