This antique water-jar presents a wonderful flowing candy-brown glaze across its surface. All around, visible traces of the potter's throwing marks can be seen as the glaze catches in horizontal lines. Some kiln marks, scratches, and dirt, but in good condition. A charming and interesting piece which is rarely found. Edo period; likely made in Kyushu. less
