Of generous proportions and of excellent construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The serpentine shaped top is inset with a sumptuous black leather writing surface replete with gilt tooled decoration. This is surrounded by a deep border of exquisite floral marquetry inlay. To the front there is a single drawer to the freeze. The base is in solid walnut with carved detailings, with legs terminating in their original castors. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent condition.
