In the early 1930s, the Bigla company acquired the license to produce furniture designs by Mart Stam, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer. In addition, Bigla also sold its own designs with great success. Our tea or bar cart from the 1940s is one of the most famous models. Chrome-plated tubular steel frame, shelves made of black painted wood. The top shelf has two side carrying handles. It is removable and serves as a practical serving tray. The bottom shelf can also be removed and used as a tray. The middle level is screwed to the frame and thus serves as stabilization. All three trays were extensively restored by a professional restorer. He completely removed the old paint and sanded the wood. The parts were then primed and painted again. They are mirror-smooth and have no signs of wear. The chrome-plated tubular steel frame has some rust in places, but this in no way spoils the excellent impression of the car. Visually it is in almost new condition. The rollers rotate and run perfectly. Length 78cm. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
