Description: Vintage custom painted Italian French regency style tall secretary desk & chair. The pieces are painted in a whimsical Italian … more Vintage custom painted Italian French regency style tall secretary desk & chair. The pieces are painted in a whimsical Italian style, largely blue and off-white, with intricate bird and floral motifs on the secretary. Both pieces have a Louis XVI inspired form, with the secretary having diamond wire front doors, urn-form finials, two central drawers, long tapered legs and a pull-out writing surface. The chair has similarly tapered legs, nicely carved floral accents and caned back and seat. Listing includes desk and matching chair. *Top of desk lifts off base* Circa Mid 20th Century.
