Offering a very rare and super cool vintage rattan daybed! Constructed of split reed rattan over a hardwood internal frame. The lines are just amazing! Featuring symmetrical scrollwork on the sides of these unique sleigh beds and a stacked rattan design all in a beautiful warm walnut finish. I could see these as an amazing focal point of a zen theme living space or even a whimsical child’s room (Peter Pan theme?!)
This bed is #2 of 2 that I have available. They are the exact same style and dimensions, but the finish on this one (#2) is slightly more of a golden undertone, and #1 has slightly more mahogany undertones. This is not noticeable, except when you’re looking very close at them side-by-side. Please see my pictures for reference. If you would like to purchase both for a set, I can offer a 20% discount for both!
In excellent vintage condition. Bed #2 has a small portion of the split reed missing from the upper spiral. Please see pic, this is circled in red. This missing part would not be noticeable if this was the side against a wall.
