It features solid maple construction, two rung ladder back, armless design, rush seat, and double box stretchers. There is a portion of the original paper label on one of the lower stretchers of the chair that refers to a furniture maker named "Simon."

The rocking chair is in good antique condition with wear consistent with age. There is some wear on the wood frame, but the chair is overall very sturdy, and the rush seat is intact.

The rocking chair measures 30.75" tall, 19.25" wide, and 29.5" deep, with a seat height of 14 inches. less
