This is an unusual pair of vintage Italian provincial accent chairs with a hand painted crest of arms or shield … Read more This is an unusual pair of vintage Italian provincial accent chairs with a hand painted crest of arms or shield on the leather upholstered backs.

The chairs have solid wood frames painted in cream with mint accents. The top rail has a pierced interlocked ring design and is accented with a carved floral swag. The seats and backs are upholstered in off white leather. The fluted and tapered square legs are topped with corner blogs with carved rosettes. The chairs are unmarked but were likely made in Italy during the 1950s.

The chairs are in fair to good vintage condition with moderate wear. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable. There are plenty of scratches on the painted wood frames. There are also surface level cracks and wear on the leather seats. Please see photos for more details about condition.

Each chair measures 37.5" tall, 23" wide, and 22" deep with a seat height of 18.5 inches and arm height of 27 inches. See less
