An extremely rare and highly sought after matched pair of glass topped side tables designed by Richard Young for Merrow Associates Ltd in the 1972 and marked and dated on the underside.
Merrow Associates was established in the early 60’s by Richard Young who had a passion for Danish design, mixed with luxurious materials, fine finishes and a love of inspirational engineering. Their highly sought after pieces retailed in London through Harrods.
The tables have beautiful chromed steel frames, glass tops and rosewood. Tables are in near perfect condition with minimal loss to the chrome, small scratches to the glass and less than expected signs of wear to the rosewood below.
