His father, emilio nason, was one of the founders of the renowned a.ve.m glass factory (arte vetraria muranese). From a young age, aldo approached the art of glass, learning blowing techniques and perfecting his style in the family laboratory. In the 1960s and 1970s, nason gained notoriety primarily for his creations in the field of lighting, collaborating with a.v. Mazzega, for whom he designed futuristic lamps in glass and metal with tubular shapes.
