The glass amber eyes with black pupils, which glow when placed in front of a fire, are nicely contrasted by original dark cast iron finish. The billet bars are attached with a tapered dovetail joint. One of the billet bars was previously repaired and the other one is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced.
