A very attractive and traditionally hand painted Chinese table lamp with wrap around scene in rich colourful enamels portraying perched and flying phoenix & swallows amongst blossoming pink cherry trees and branches with chrysanthemums and peonies, on a very well painted rock outcrop. Symmetrical lower border. All very auspicious.
Made on the island of Macau, mark on base. A little bit of history as porcelain is no longer made there.
Vintage mid 20th Century. 1950-1960's.
Very good used condition. A beautiful piece.
