A 19th century Napoleon III bronze mounted marquetry jardiniere, or planter, with inlaid veneer of kingwood. Decorated with a hand-painted Sèvres porcelain medallion. Original removable yellow painted zinc liner has been repaired. A fine cachepot, perfect for the display of orchids or ferns. Very good condition consistent with age and use. Circa 1870-1890
