Crisp and bright all over, depicting a traditional lakeside landscape scene with stones, dappling light across the water, and a lush landscape.

Nearly a perfect square - 10" by 9.25"

Presented unframed in an aged mat. Inside matt dimensions are 14.5" by 15.25"

While visiting a good friend in nearby Madison County, Virginia, we were looking at two fine wooden trunks (which will soon be here on Chairish). Upon opening one of them, we discovered this...patiently awaiting a return to prominence after all these years. It's as lovely and well executed as any watercolor we've seen and has the gorgeous detailing that truly great late 19th / early 20th C works often had. Wonderful size, high quality, listed American Artist. A fantastic addition to any collection. less
