Rarely found captains swivel chair in good condition a beautiful example of classic American wood-making. This is another piece from "Chair City" Gardner, Massachusetts. Nichols and Stone was one of the oldest furniture makers in the United States. They closed in 2005.
This captain's chair is on wheels (which work), and a swivel. It also has an adjustable seat.
All the spindles are in great shape but there is a scratch on the seat (see photo). solid oak.
