There is a mark near the fin on the surface of the black base (please see photo close up). There is some wear to the base and the piece. This is a heavy duty brass sculpture so it has worn well. There is a patina to the finish. Very nice. There is wear to the makers mark and lint and wear on the velvet on the under side of the base. less

This is nice sculpture mounted on a base. I am not sure what the base is made of, but it feels and sounds like metal.

What I understand about Dolbi Cashier- they produced high-end decorative objects which were designed by owner Ed Schulman. They were produced in Italy and Korea.
