Made of solid quarter sawn oak, this desk has a rustic charm that is sure to impress. The desk features drawers for ample storage space. Desk Surface has some dings and scratches. In great shape given its age. Style can be antique, craftsman, or vintage. Solid Oak. Desk is heavy. This desk was in the house my parents bought in San Francisco in 1973 and it was probably used from by the previous owner, a tax accountant as his work desk. I do not know if he bought the desk in the 1930s. Notice the dovetail joints still in perfect condition. Dovetail drawer boxes are usually made out of a solid hardwood like Maple or Oak. The joints at the front and back of the drawer box are notched to fit together like a puzzle piece. This table measures 30.5" inches in height, 50 inches in width and 32" Deep. The Sieinna/brown color of the desk adds to its antique appeal. The Rucker Fuller Desk Co operated from 1876 to 1996 delivering quality office furniture and services for over 120 years. Sorry the picture of the Rucker Fuller plaque isn't clear. I will get a better picture per request. This is a rare find. When I google these desks, I do not find many and the few that show up are already sold. less
