Here is a stunning, center table designed by Maitland-Smith in the later 20th c. The table features beautiful, mahogany wood with a brass/bronze gallery around the top and a tessellated veined marble top. There are four leges with carved details and gilded gold accents. The center of the table has a lovely undercarriage design! The marble top is a thinner variety, so the table appears super heavy, but it's nicely manageable. The stone is not a single slab, but looks like a tessellated or mosaic of the same marble color way, which is tans, taupes, browns, golden browns. It's really lovely with an inlay brass ribbon around the border.
