Crafted from solid brass … more A mid century pendant lamp in the manner of alvar aalto, shaped like a hand grenade. Crafted from solid brass with a wonderful age-related patina. The fixture is constructed from an upper tube, a larger cylinder and a small ring shaped reflector. It’s fitted with a standard e27 lamp holder and a matching brass canopy up by the ceiling. Probably produced by the swedish manufacturer asea in the 1950s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
