The base made … more An aesthetic feast for the eyes of an antique and rare dining table, from a French chateau. The base made of solid beech wood still has the original frame and an authentic dream patina. Elaborately carved details, such as lion's feet that merge into an acanthus leaf and end with a detailed carving, the carved central rosette is also an eye-catcher. Unfortunately, the frame on the table tops could not be saved, so the paint was removed and the beautiful wood veneer was oiled. The insert plate has a different color and may have been replaced. I only have a limited number of pictures here, more upon request to see the patina and signs of age in more detail.
