Elegant and stately 8.5' tall Swedish Gustavian display cabinet built in two sections. This grand pine bookcase is just under 11' wide with traditional dentil molding and diamond panels on the six cabinet doors.
The original antique white painted finish shows expected distressed through generations of use, fitting the age and grace of this timeless piece. Also original is the interior fabric backing, creating an attractive backdrop for any collection held within.
Interior shelves and sides are painted a contrasting dusky rose.
Restored, skeleton keys will be included to use as pulls for upper cabinets. Brass knobs have been added to the lower three right-hand cabinet doors with interior clip to allow easier access getting in and out of the lower cabinets (photos taken prior to their addition).
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this striking bookcase.
