A classic … more 1956 kitchen cabinet/sideboard by Frank Guille - part of the ‘Trimma’ range of modular kitchen units for Kandya. A classic piece of post-war kitchen design and a precursor of the modern fitted kitchen. This cabinet can also be used as a free-standing sideboard in any setting.

Constructed from solid beech and birch ply with fluted glass doors and a formica top in a grey gingham check pattern. The main sliding doors have been painted in a light blue and dark grey (Farrow & Ball: Lulworth Blue and Downpipe) to copy the original colour-scheme but they can also be supplied repainted in colours of your choice – please message for details.

Good condition. Restored and refinished. Small marks, blemishes and light signs of wear consistent with age. Some small ‘flea bites’ at the edges of the glass (see photo)
