The flexible, … more This Cobra table lamp designed by Japanese designer Msayuki Kurokawa in the 70s comes in very good condition. The flexible, yellow rubberized arm with a ribbed structure gives the lamp the structure that gives it its name. The rubberized arm, with the base part in which the switch is located, is in very good condition. The black painted metal base shows minimal signs of wear, as does the metal shade.

This lamp was designed by Kurokawa in the futuristic Space Age design typical of the time and reflects the direction in which design has developed, not only in Japan.
