The chest is a genuine country furniture in gustavian style with a classic straight shape from around 1820. The frame is two parts, made by hand in solid pine. It has the characteristic straight shape of the gustavian period, five drawers and original handles at the sides. Later drawer pulls in wrought iron. The chest is scraped by hand down to the original first layer of paint, creating a distressed and rustic patina. Healthy and solid frame. less
