Miriam Haskell opened her first New York costume jewelry store in the 1920's and enjoyed a successful career through the 1960's gaining a reputation for beautiful and high quality pieces admired by stylish patrons including Joan Crawford and Gloria Vanderbilt. This elegant 1950's necklace is designed with two strands of faux baroque pearls and a center mounted pendant of gilt filigree accented by crystal rhinestones. The necklace is outfitted with an adjustable hook closure embellished with flower shaped medallions. There is a regal look to the design that will add a touch of class to evening wear or an unexpected sparkle to daytime attire. Or consider it as the 'something old' for a wedding ensemble. Marked on the pendant, closure hook and with the designer's medallion.

The necklace measures 1.5" wide x 2" tall x .5" deep. The adjustable hook closure allows up to a 9” drop. less
