20.5” x 14” x 36.5”H
Sauteuse commode in rosewood and ebony, sheathed in shagreen stingray leather with ebony and faux pearl flower inlays. Curved sides and front show a stylized vase motif with radiating black lines. Two drawers constructed from lacquered tiger maple. Top is constructed from black marble with a curved ebony frame. Flower garlands join the four curved legs.
This is a reproduction of the piece made by Paul Iribe ca. 1912, which resides at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.
This is in very good used condition with no major defects. Some refinishing on the top and repairs to the legs have been carried out.
