- This vintage hand-painted Chinese Chinoiserie porcelain ginger jar lamp is absolutely gorgeous with its handpainted scene, that is all the … more This vintage hand-painted Chinese Chinoiserie porcelain ginger jar lamp is absolutely gorgeous with its handpainted scene, that is all the way around the lamp. It sits on a wood base and has a wood top. Wood top does have a few scratches which you will see in one of the pictures I have circled in purple. (Nothing that Can’t be touched up). This lamp has a vintage S-socket to hold two lightbulbs, both with pull chains and it also has a roller knob on the cord to turn it on/off. Both light sockets worked just fine as do the roller switch and the chains. This stands 34 1/2” tall, 19” of that is the base and 16 1/2” is the pulls and sockets. It has a circumference of 34” at its widest point. This does not have a lampshade. But a finial is on top and is removable to hold your shade. less
