Description: This armchair model GFM-64 was designed in the 1960s by Polish designer Edmund Homa and manufactured by Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli. … more This armchair model GFM-64 was designed in the 1960s by Polish designer Edmund Homa and manufactured by Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli. The armchairs of this model were intended mainly for export to Western countries and were luxurious furniture in communist Poland. The frame of the armchair is made of solid beech wood and has been professionally and carefully restored consisting in removing old coatings, staining in brown and finishing with varnish. The seat and backrest are upholstered with a new graphite upholstery. The upholstery cushion was also replaced. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
