This is an antique morning room chair. A French, beech and textile open wing back armchair, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850.
Appealing armchair with tasteful upholstery and striking open form
Displays a desirable aged patina, lightly time worn through careful use
Beech frame presents warm caramel hues and fine grain interest
Traditionally stuffed cushion and back rest offers a comfortable experience
Domed top framed with broad wing back shoulders
Distinctively shaped arm rests adorned with relief carvings
Finished in a cream coloured upholstery with embroidered centre panels
Panels host delicate foliate bouquets in a delightful colour palette
Press stud beading accentuates the apron line and outer wing edges
