Mid 20th Century Realist Austrian oil painting, signed lower right Jacobs. The painting features a woodland setting with beautiful trees around a river with two figures in the background. The oil is on canvas and framed in gold and green.
Jacobs was Born in Korreuburg, Austria in 1908. He absolved the elementary schools there where his teachers were struck by his great talent. He attended the Industrial school of Arts and studied for paintings landscapes under Prof. Anger. His paintings are subjects of which he is taking out of the Viennese surroundings are marked by their cheerful tones in colors.
