Because of the value of this set I am describing its condition in the greatest detail and have provided photographic evidence. Video and/or additional photographs can be provided on request. The wood frames have been properly cleaned and conditioned and are of a rich brown color with patina. At the base of some legs and the bottom of some of the heart-shaped bentwood stiles there is wear to the original lacquer finish, as would be expected on chairs this age. The cane seats are in good condition and are all useable as is. On one arm chair there is minor damage to one cane strand at the rim, and to another in the center. On one bistro chair there is damage to a few cane strands at the rim, and to another in the center. Most all of the damage can only be seen from the underside; the seats are fully functional and look in great condition from above. Only two of the original screws have been replaced and both have been camouflaged so it is not obvious they are new (see photo). less
