This is a … more This is an Allertons covered soup tureen or serving dish in Blue Willow from 1929 to 1942. This is a large covered soup tureen or serving dish. The lid has a cut out for a ladle or scoop.

The base bowl measures 12.00 inches by 9.75 inches at the rim. The center is 8.75 by 6.75 inches. It is 4.00 inches tall at the rim and about 3.75 inches deep. Height to the top of the handle is 8.25 inches. This is a big serving dish and perfect for the holidays.

This piece is marked Allerton’s as shown and is called Willow Blue. There is some crazing on the lid which is mostly noticable very close up and under bright light and just under the handle. The rest of the lid may have some crazing, but it is very hard to see with this pattern. There is some very minimal discoloration from the crazing, but again, you have to be right up on it with a bright to see it. The base has NO crazing.

There are no chips, cracks, or other damage. less
