A stunning scandi boho styled ercol sideboard dating to the second half of the 20th century.
the sideboard is solid … more A stunning scandi boho styled ercol sideboard dating to the second half of the 20th century.
the sideboard is solid and well made from elm and mixed woods. It is a quality piece by ercol which features panelled doors, gently curved top edges and raised decorative dowels.
the front is fitted with double cross panelled doors which are held closed by a sliding central wooden latch. The doors open to reveal a single shallow fixed shelf.set over the doors are two spacious drawers finished with turned knobs.
the sideboard has been sanded back to the natural wood and waxed for protection. The door panels, drawers and side panels have been hand painted in black water based paint before being stencilled and waxed.
the top of the sideboard has been sanded back to the natural wood and darkly waxed for protection.
condition
the sideboard is in solid structural condition with various minor cosmetic marks of age and use.
the cupboard and drawer interiors have some marks of use.
