A pair of rare scissor lights, made in the 1960s in the typically high quality of Hala.
They are not … more A pair of rare scissor lights, made in the 1960s in the typically high quality of Hala.
They are not identical in the design of the joints on the lampshade, but have identical movement options. The light beige joint of the lamp is still typical of the lamps from the 30s to 50s.
The scissors and the wall brackets are chrome-plated brass, the lampshades are painted aluminum.
Both lights have an E27 socket with a pressure switch on the lampshade.
The lamp can be swiveled and tilted on the wall brackets, the lampshades can be tilted and rotated via a joint.

Wall distance of 32 cm - extended 65 cm
Height of the scissors 13 cm
There are only minor traces of time on the original orange paintwork (scratches on the back).
Light lampshade light beige
