Wall light manufactured by asea, sweden, circa 1950. Each lamp features two light sources, hidden by frosted opaline glass shades. The shades are elegantly kept in place by three thin brass rods. Condition: the sides of the back plates have been polished (to get rid of old paint), while we chose to preserve the patina on the rest of the fixture. A hole is cut on each back plate for the wiring, shown on picture. The shades remain in very good condition. Wiring: all our lamps are wired for eu standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for us standards. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise. less
