Eva Zeisel was born in Hungary, spent some time in Ukraine and some time in Russian prison. She was accused falsely for plotting to assassinate Stalin. After freed she moved to Vienna. She and her husband took the last train out of Vienna before Nazis arrived and with $64 they took the boat to America. She had a one woman show at MOMA. She died 2011 at age 105. Look her up! She looked like sweet old lady.
Here are five of her creations with "doorknob" bases and 'P' etched on them. Great for cordials.
