This mid-century table from Italy features a half-moon shaped top in an attractive pie-sliced bookmatched veneer design, with wood graining continuing onto the apron below. The skirt is a lovely contrast to the top, as the remainder of this piece is painted in coral and pink hues with gilt embellishing the shell and scroll motif that dances playfully about the skirt line. The table is presented upon three fluidly carved legs, adorn with geometric and foliate accents, which are risen upon a D-shaped box stretcher with profiled/squared feet.
