Description: A French painted wood console table with brass gallery and original marble top from the early 20th century. This antique … more A French painted wood console table with brass gallery and original marble top from the early 20th century. This antique table from France has a D-shaped/demi style top with the original white marble recessed within a raised decorative brass gallery edge. The rear is long and flat, as to be nestled snuggly against a well. The apron follows the shape of the top, with drawer set at center, it is adorn in a recessed panel motif which is outlined in petite brass beaded trim. This table is presented upon four rounded and fluted legs, which are supported with a lower shelf at their ankles, and terminate into brass feet. There is a newer custom painted finish, primarily in beige and grey tones with gold accent trim, to compliment the original white marble top and brass fittings. Please note that there is no key for the drawer. This early 20th century French marble top console console, with its secondary shelf, will provide you with a beautiful piece of furniture to fashionably display your art and other collectibles! less
