Beautiful 14" Oval Serving Platter in the Edme pattern by Wedgwood. In classic off white color with ribbed rim, it's neutral color and simple style integrates easily into other tableware designs.
Wedgwood Edme is one of the most famous Wedgwood sets. Designed by John Goodwin, who was a leading art director at Wedgwood for over 30 years, the history of this iconic Queen's ware service dates back to 1908. Goodwin was inspired for the design of Edme by sketches from the eighteenth century. and by examples from the French Empire.
This piece is in excellent, like new condition with no signs of use.
