Antique Porcelain Oyster Plate, Made in Germany, with hand painted gold trim on scalloped edging. The detail in and around the oyster wells are purple/charcoal in color. The plate is imprinted "Registrirt" and "0245" & "31" are written on the back.
Per the website Porcelain Marks & More, "registrirt" simply means registered. It is an early form of copyright notice that was used [in German] during the time in which registrations were still processed by local authorities (between 1840 and 1875).
