The custom ordered sofa … Read more Monumental bespoke De Sede DS 600 Non-Stop snake sofa featuring a dramatic indigo blue velvet upholstery. The custom ordered sofa is from a Samantha Todhunter Design installation in an important and historical Julia Morgan designed mansion located in Presidio Heights San Francisco, CA. The versatile one-off modular sectional sofa can be configured into 2 sectional sofas with multiple configurations since there are four end pieces. The sofa can also be configured into one long snake sofa with 36 elements measuring approximately 28.5 feet long. The custom pieces are upholstered with a plush, dark indigo blue velvet fabric in well-preserved condition. The sofa consists of 24 elements with backs supports and 14 elements without back supports. The iconic sofa was originally designed by Ueli Berger for De Sede in the early 1970's and has had a long roster of famous clients and celebrities. Matching bespoke spotlight rug Designed by David Rockwell also available as seen in photos. Ordered in the 21st century the sofa is beautifully crafted in near new condition and ready to be installed.
