Limited edition intaglio collagraph on Arches paper by Brazilian artist Enrique Peycere. Hand signed, titled and numbered by the artist in pencil. Size: 30" x 22". Edition Number: 45/100. Circa 1980s. Condition is Excellent. Some minor handling creases. Certificate of Authenticity is included. Make an offer!
Artist bio:
ENRIQUE PEYCERE
Enrique Peycere was born in Buenos Aires in 1927. Before moving to France in 1961, he was a professor in the School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires and was the stage designer at the Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro. By 1968, Peycere became a French citizen.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has participated in many international group exhibitions such as: Salon de Mai in Paris, the Biennales in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Havana, Ljubljana and Cracow and has had special exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Florence, Milano, and the Hague.
At present, his works are in museums in Bochum, Rio de Janeiro, Skopje, Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, plus many private collections.
