Dramatic pair of left and right side chaise longues or lounges designed by Thomas Pheasant for Baker Furniture. The chaises feature hardwood frames with tightly upholstered fabric seating surfaces. The generous seats have deep-fitted loose seat cushions and a bolster pillow. The sofas are supported by angular tapered feet with a deep, rich finish. The backs of the sofas have a distinctive design with gracefully sloped backs and butter knife arms. Baker describes the Patricia chaise from the Thomas Pheasant collection as a piece that celebrates the feminine side of modernism. Grand, glamorous, and shapely.
