Every year I travel to the South of England with my family. We explore the beaches and I'm always blown away by the clarity of the water. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world - I even prefer the sights here to those in the south of France.
This is the first painting from the series, inspired by The Lizard in St Ives, Cornwall. I love the deep blues of the water, and the way they crash into the rocks with unstoppable force.
